Lake Cumberland Area

Take I - 75 south to Lexington. Keep going south approximately 45 miles until you reach the Mount Vernon exit.  There will be a big brown sign that says "Lake Cumberland".  The exit is Route 461 Renfro Valley / Mount Vernon exit.
 
Get off at the Renfro Valley / Mount Vernon exit and take Route 461 to the right (West).  Stay on 461 about 15 miles and it dead ends into Route 80.
 
Take a right on Route 80 (West) and go about 8 miles until you come to the first traffic light.  This is Route 914 the "Veterans Highway" which is on the left.
 
Take a left onto Route 914 the "Veterans Highway".  Stay on this road about 10 miles.  It will dead end into Route 27.  
 
Take a left on Route 27.  Go about 2 miles until you come to Route 90.  
 
Take a right on Route 90 (West) AND GO ABOUT 17 MILES.  You will come to Monticello Kentucky.  Keep going straight past the Kroger and Walmart that are on the right.  Go about 2 more miles and you will come to a stop light at a Shell station on the right.  You will see a big sign on right that says "Beaver Creek  Resort".   Take a right ON Route 92  and follow the signs all the way back to Beaver Creek Resort (7 miles). If you get lost the telephone number to beaver Creek is 606-348-7280
