Captain Jim personally fishes out of a 22 foot Twin Vee Fiberglass Catamaran powered by twin Johnson outboard engines (fast and smooth!).  This boat takes rough water extremely well and provides tons of room for larger groups to move around, cast lures and actively fight fish!  The boat is heated and covered during cold weather and outfitted with sophisticated top of the line electronics including a RayMarine C-120.  The RayMarine C-120 is a 12 inch color GPS – Fish Finder – Radar unit that is # 1 combination marine electronics model made in the world!  Schools of bait fish and Stripers show up clearly (making the hunt for monster Stripers exciting!). For night fishing, you just cannot beat the 12 inch color radar of the RayMarine unit for seeing other boat traffic (for safety). 

Captain Jim’s guide boat is also outfitted with two auto-electric Canon downriggers, 16 rod holders, the very best hooks, Offshore brand planer boards and heavy duty Striper rods & reels available (that are spooled with "Team Fish" fishing line).   The boat also has headlights, all Coast Guard required safety equipment (naturally), a Minn Kota “remote control” auto-pilot trolling motor and a 30 gallon 5 way filtered “SuperBait Tank” shad tank to keep the bait frisky.
